My son recently started Kindergarten. This is such an exciting stage and adventure for him. I love this stage, because it’s a whole new world out there. He gets to go out into the world without mom and dad around. He gets to learn many new things; such as sportsmanship. We have a Community Rec building in a near by town that offers a wide variety of sports/activities for school age children. Bryson is playing basketball now. My husband is a coach, so I know how important it’s to encourage drinking water while be active. Bryson (like his mom) is not a fan of drinking water. I recently found some pretty cool water bottles for kids at Cool Gear.
I chose to get the 12oz Hermit for my son. We live 10 miles from the Community Rec, so I wanted something that would keep the water cold for him. I don’t know why, but water always taste better when it’s cold. The hermit had a little ice stick that you can insert into the bottle to keep the water cold. Kids are prone to spilling drinks, at least mine are! So it was nice to have a sipper cap that made it a little harder for water to spill out. We have a dishwasher, no it’s not me, so I was very excited to learn that I could wash these in the dishwasher and it wouldn’t break them. My son LOVED the color of the bottles. It was blue and green, which just happened to be his two top favorite colors. He feel so much in love with the bottle that he is convinced that he can’t drink water out of any other cup.
Drinking water is very important, but sometimes it’s hard to get children to do it. Help encourage them with some Cool Gear. It worked for my son! He loves his Cool Gear and so do I.
